Kathy was a girl I knew as I was just leaving high school. She was older than me, and she had a daughter named Wende who I thought was terrific.
But the age difference was too great, and many other factors came between us.
But out of it all I got some great memories, and some great poems.
I guess that's the best we can hope for eh?
The works of Kathy come in three parts.
These are the main poems. Written as I went through several stages of remorse and anger. If it seems a little roller coaster-ish it's because that's how our relationship was at the end. We broke up, we made up, and finally we broke up.
Deaf Sonnets
(of Kathy)
Written on Cocktail Napkins, all in one night. The origionals showed quite nicely how the handwriting got significantly worse as the night went on. One could easily tell that it was a tough night on me, and (just so you know) it was an even tougher morning!

Tales of Kathy
(and other forgotten or lost ladies)
This is a major work. I came to the realization that there was something that needed to be straightened out in my life. I had a new wife, and she was lovely. (Still is, after 25 years of marrage!) I had to get it all out of my system so that I could let myself enjoy the new life that I had laied out for myself. I did it in this form. I think everyone needs to do this.
